SK Direct (UK) Ltd is an upcoming Importer/Distributor and Converter of Industrial Self-Adhesive Materials and Tamper Evident Solutions.
We are looking for an enthusiastic internal sales executive with a friendly investigative approach to selling. Working in a small team you will play a key part in expanding our national client database helping us to achieve £1m turnover in the next two years.
You will be responsible for locating potential business, first contact with business clients, assessing their needs, generating leads and appointments. It involves mostly cold-calling but with an investigative rather than an aggressive approach. The acquired information must be neatly documented and follow-up wherever necessary. You will be sending out literature, samples and arranging appointments for our Sales Director.
We expect this person to be able to work independently, be presentable and have great communication skills, with experience in direct sales, cold-calling and/or customer service. Some experience or affinity with industrial materials, processes, consumables or engineering would come in useful. You must be able to retain technical product information and have an organised approach to your work.
We are a small but growing team with the hands-on mentality that suits such a small organisation. The hours are part-time to start, 24 hours per week with an initial 4 month contract. We have a fairly flexible approach and have no problem fitting the hours around other engagements such as school-run or sports.
Your duties will include:
· Contacting (potential) clients through outbound calls
· Documenting information, building a client database
· Building a rapport and positive working relationships
· Locating business potential
· Working to targets for calls and lead generation
· Answering calls and dealing with existing clients, liaising with other team members to resolve queries and answering questions
Essential experience and skills:
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Good computer skills
· Ability to retain technical product information
